The picture shows the actuator. At the actuator housing is
the fitting for the flexible shaft which then drives the
worm gear inside the actuator housing. The worm gear
drives the ball screw spindle which then drives the screw
nut. At the end of the spindle is a spring loaded snubber
stop.
All four actuators are identical. The three different variants (inboard, outboard lefthand, outboard righthand) are created by adapter parts. |
